Boo Hoo !! Well it is a tough day to be a BYU fan!!! A real test of your character. After Jake arrived home from school on Friday with welts from a UTES vs. BYU game of dodge ball (the
ratio being 3 to 1), I wondered how much more harassment he could take. How would he react to the defeat. I was surprised, he took it with dignity and pride. We had a game day party in the heart of cougar country (my parents home) and watched the game with my brothers and uncles. We watched the entire game and had even a glimpse of hope at times. But it all came to an end. Jake is a little concerned about church tomorrow and school on Monday. I only hope that the blue paint will come off his face. He will have to take his beatings. It is all part of being a true, blue fan. I also think about this aspect somewhere there are proud parents some with their hearts full of joy and others whose heart are breaking for their son.
