Hoppy Easter!!

We have enjoyed our Easter weekend. Jacobsen and Josie had a couple of days off last week so we started celebrating on Thursday with a little Easter egg hunt here at our home. The weather would not cooperate so we hunted in the house, which is not that eventful. however the little kids got really good after we hid the same eggs three times. On Friday we colored eggs. Saturday morning we got up early and went to the Riverton Egg Hunt, we arrived early so we could visit with the bunny. Curen loves that, he sat on the girl bunny, Curen said, "She was fat and the boy bunny was tall and skinny." After that we waited for the big hunt, it started at exactly ten o'clock. It was freezing, the wind was blowing and it was raining. When the fire engine sounds you go. We were in our car done at 10:05. I estimate that it took two minutes for all the kids to pick everything clean. We had dinner on Saturday night at Nana and Pas. Nana has a big money hunt that the kids always look forward to, however it was wet and muddy. The hunt for the first time that I can remember was inside. The kids walked away with a fist full of money. Nana also gave Josie an Easter dress and the boys an Easter outfit. We always have a wienie roast and West Virginia hot dogs for dinner. Sunday morning we discovered that the Easter Bunny had arrived and hidden every ones basket. We have early morning church and Curen was giving a talk so I thought we did a good job getting everything done and getting to church. We went to grandma and grandpa Coles and visited with our family there after church. I think that we had a productive weekend. It was a nice Easter Weekend, even though the weather did not cooperate. Hopefully, the children have fun memories, that is all that matters to me. I enjoy making memories and keeping family traditions.
